Yoo-Jin Kang, she/hers
Founder & CEO
Yoo-Jin (yooji, 강유진) is the eldest daughter of Korean immigrants, the eldest sister to Fran, and an integrative leadership coach, astrologer, and healing justice practitioner with over 12 years of experience combining anti-racist equity principles, public health, and trauma-informed care into her work.
Yoo-Jin holds a Master of Public Health at UC Berkeley, where she researched racism as a social determinant of health. Yoo-Jin combines her experience as a healing practitioner, first-generation immigrant, and survivor, weaving mind-body modalities and anti-racist practices into all her work, including Eldest Daughters Collective. Outside of work Yoo-Jin enjoys being by the water, rollerskating, and caring for her Leo fur-baby, Matcha.
Khala Smith, she/hers
Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer

Khala is the eldest daughter of three, a mother of two (including an eldest daughter), a wife, an intergenerational family coach, ancestral healing guide, and visionary leader with over 10 years of experience supporting organizations to transform through sustainable systems, operational strategy, and cultures of belonging. A systems thinker and healing advocate, she brings a rare blend of analytical insight and ancestral wisdom to her work.
With a Master’s in Industrial–Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Family Studies and Community Development, Khala specializes in bridging the inner and outer worlds, understanding that true growth and expansion require both structural clarity and emotional, cultural, and intergenerational care. Her work is rooted in a holistic, person-centered approach informed by healing justice, ancestral knowledge, and lived experience.
As COO of Eldest Daughters Collective and Director of Finance & Fundraising, Khala ensures that EDC’s leadership team, members, and organizational systems remain grounded, resourced, and expansive. She is deeply committed to cultivating financial abundance and sustainability frameworks that invite ease, prosperity, and healthy flow in relationship with money, time, energy, and collective resources.
Outside of work, Khala can be found traveling, at concerts, deep into a board game, watching animal documentaries, learning Korean and Yoruba, or mastering K-pop choreography.
Leidy Londoño, she/hers
Co-Founder & Director of Programming & Product
Leidy Londoño (she/her/ella) is a first-generation queer immigrant born in Colombia and raised in the U.S. in the northeast; she currently resides in Takoma Park, MD (Piscataway Land). Leidy is a libra sun, libra rising, and a gemini moon and the first and eldest born daughter into an immigrant family.
As a leader and an advocate, she is committed to creating transformative experiences for staff and peers that help bridge the gap between personal growth, systematic change, and sustainability. With almost a decade of experience in nonprofit, global public health, reproductive health, and crisis intervention, she specializes in leveraging digital tools to support people of marginalized identities to access the resources they need. Over the last four years, she has dedicated her work to connecting people to sexual health information and to helping people navigate the complexities of abortion care. Leidy brings her experience in trauma-informed care and interventions to digital ecosystems and program management. She is currently the Director of Client Services with the Brigid Alliance, a practical support organization dedicated to eliminating logistical and travel barriers for abortion seekers.
Leidy enjoys long walks with her rescued dog, Lana (slang word for money in Spanish), reading, cooking, tarot and astrological readings, ceramics class, and advocating for walkable and accessible cities.
Ev Jung, they/them
Director of Membership Experience
Meet Ev (they/them), the Collective’s Director of Membership Experience. Ev serves the community by cultivating a space that feels welcoming, joyful, and rooted in good energy. They are a second-generation Korean American, non-binary person living in Northern Virginia (Manahoac Land), a first-time umma to a little one, and an older sibling to their younger brother. Ev is an Aries sun, Gemini moon, and Cancer rising!
Ev earned their Juris Doctor from The George Washington University School of Law and brings their legal training into their work as a thoughtful advocate, steady mediator, and strategic problem-solver. They have spent much of their career in legal recruiting, supporting attorneys across the DMV, and are currently in transition toward a new area of legal practice.
Outside of work, Ev loves live music, playing video games, and being total goofballs with their spouse, Rae, and their baby, Junie..
Trishia Domingo, she/hers
Co-Founder & Data Strategy
Trishia Domingo is proud to be serving in her new role as EDC's Chief Strategy & Insights Officer. In this new role, she transforms member experiences, reflections, and feedback into actionable insight that informs the EDC community's organizational strategy. She greatly enjoys the process of gathering, synthesizing, and interpreting data and feedback to guide executive decisions. Outside of EDC, Trishia is also an award winning model and current Face of CB Modeling Associates. She takes great pride in helping women embody self love and self mastery as a Confidence Coach.
