Yoo-Jin Kang, she/hers

Founder & CEO

Yoo-Jin is the eldest daughter of Korean immigrants, the eldest sister to Fran, and a trainer, astrologer, and healing justice practitioner with over 10 years of experience combining anti-racist equity principles, public health, and trauma-informed care into her work. Currently, Yoo-Jin is pursuing her Master of Public Health at UC Berkeley, where she studies racism as a social determinant of health. Yoo-Jin combines her experience as a healing practitioner, first-generation immigrant, and survivor, weaving mind-body modalities and anti-racist practices into her work. Outside of work Yoo-Jin enjoys being by the water, hosting themed parties, and caring for her Leo fur-baby, Matcha.

Bri Hamlet, she/hers

Co-Founder & Social Media Director

Bria Hamlet, MPH, CHES, RYT-500 (she/her), is a certified health educator and yoga instructor. She is the founder of JustBriFree Well-Being, which hosts workshops and yoga classes designed to inspire positive behavior change. As a member of both the Black and LGBTQ communities, Bria is invested in holding space for underserved and underrepresented identities on the mat. Bria leads yoga classes, well-being workshops, and meditation experiences. Her work has been featured by Voyage LA, POPSUGAR, YogaJournal, GLAMOUR, and many more.

She completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program in June 2018 and a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training in April 2022. She holds a BA in Health Policy from University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a Masters of Public Health from University of New England.

Khala Smith, she/hers

Khala is an African-American woman born and raised in Maryland (Susquehannock & Piscataway Land) where she is currently residing with her partner, two kids (one being an eldest daughter), and fur baby dog, Maya. She is the eldest daughter in her family and the first to graduate university with both undergraduate and graduate degrees.

She is a systems thinker and healing advocate with a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Bachelor’s in Family Studies and Community Development, and is a certified full-spectrum doula. She values having a holistic, person-centered approach to her work while incorporating intergenerational healing and racial justice. She brings attention to the intersection between our inner and outer worlds understanding that it is essential for growth and expansion.

In her free time, you can find her traveling, cackling at TikToks, being a board game enthusiast, watching animal documentaries, and learning K-pop dances.

Leidy Londoño, she/hers

Co-Founder & Director of Operations

Leidy Londoño (she/her/ella) is a first-generation queer immigrant born in Colombia and raised in the U.S. in the northeast; she currently resides in Takoma Park, MD (Piscataway Land). Leidy is a libra sun, libra rising, and a gemini moon and the first and eldest born daughter into an immigrant family. 

As a leader and an advocate, she is committed to creating transformative experiences for staff and peers that help bridge the gap between personal growth, systematic change, and sustainability. With almost a decade of experience in nonprofit, global public health, reproductive health, and crisis intervention, she specializes in leveraging digital tools to support people of marginalized identities to access the resources they need. Over the last four years, she has dedicated her work to connecting people to sexual health information and to helping people navigate the complexities of abortion care. Leidy brings her experience in trauma-informed care and interventions to digital ecosystems and program management. She is currently the Director of Client Services with the Brigid Alliance, a practical support organization dedicated to eliminating logistical and travel barriers for abortion seekers. 

Leidy enjoys long walks with her rescued dog, Lana (slang word for money in Spanish), reading, cooking, tarot and astrological readings, ceramics class, and advocating for walkable and accessible cities. 

Trishia Domingo, she/hers

Co-Founder & Project Director

Trishia is the eldest daughter and a first generation Filipino immigrant with eight years of experience in tech and healthcare. She was awarded Woman of the Year by the Multicultural Student Services during her time at Frederick Community College for her academic excellence and dedication to being a student leader and mentor to her peers. Today, Trishia is a passionate servant leader and personal coach to her various communities - she finds great joy and fulfillment in coaching and empowering women in all of her different communities. 

Outside of work, Trishia is a model, pole dancer and lover of all things movement. You can typically find her spending time with her mom, brother, and cousins, or at home relaxing watching anime with her boyfriend and two cats Jinx and Boba.

Ev Jung, they/them

Discord Lead & Events Support

Meet Ev (they/them), the Collective's new Discord Lead/Events Support. They are a second-generation Korean-American and non-binary person working as a Recruiting Director for attorneys in the DC/MD/VA market. They are working towards becoming a familiar face and safe space for legal folks to turn to for making changes in their careers. They've been recognized by various legal/professional associations such as the DC Women's Bar Association and Equality Chamber of Commerce. As an eldest sibling with a younger brother, they fully align with the Collective's mission and look forward to providing support and care to this community.
